SIT summons Modi in Gujarat riots case
Narendra Modi has been summoned by a committee appointed by the Supreme Court which is investigating the Gujarat riots of 2002. The Gujarat Chief Minister has been asked to appear for questioning on the 21st of this month. Modi, along with other ministers in his government at the time, has been accused of conspiracy.

Decision on suspended MPs by evening
A solution on the issue of suspension of seven Rajya Sabha members is expected by the evening. An assurance to this effect was given on Thursday by Parliamentary Affairs Minister P K Bansal in the Lok Sabha after RJD member Raghuvansh Prasad Singh vociferously protested against the members being kept out of the Upper House.
